Versión en español – Recordatorios para la Elección de Destitución del Gobernador de California del 14 de septiembre de 2021

(Ventura) – Fifty-one vote centers will be open throughout Ventura County beginning Saturday, September 11. Voters can vote at any location; they are not assigned a specific location. Vote centers will offer same day voter registration and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant touchscreen devices and voting assistance.

Vote Center hours of operation:

  • Saturday, September 11: 10am to 6pm
  • Sunday, September 12: 10am to 6pm
  • Monday, September 13: 10am to 6pm
  • Tuesday, September 14: 7am to 8pm

If voters choose to vote in person at a vote center, they will be asked to surrender their vote-by-mail ballot to receive a new ballot for a faster voting experience. If a ballot is not surrendered, and Elections staff is unable to confirm status of the vote-by-mail ballot on file, voters will be provided a provisional ballot.

Vote-by-mail ballots were mailed to all registered voters in Ventura County. Voters are encouraged to return their voted ballots ahead of Election Day. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before September 14 and received by September 21 to be counted.

Three options to return vote-by-mail ballots:

  1. Official Ballot Drop Box (hours vary);
  2. Vote Center, September 11-14; or
  3. By mail, no postage necessary.

A list of vote centers and official ballot drop box locations can be found in your vote-by-mail package, voter information guide, and VenturaVote.org
