Ventura County Registrar of Voters Holding Public Consultation Meeting to Seek Community Input in Transition to “Voter’s Choice Act” Model

Versión en español – Registrador de Votantes del Condado de Ventura Celebrará una Reunión Pública de Consulta en Búsqueda de Participación de la Comunidad Sobre la Transición a la modela “Ley de Elección de Votantes”

(Ventura) – The Ventura County Registrar of Voters will hold a virtual Public Consultation Meeting on November 17, 2021, to receive public input to assist with developing a draft Election Administration Plan (EAP) in accordance with the County’s upcoming transition to the California Voter’s Choice Act (VCA) in June 2022.

The VCA modernizes voting by providing voters with multiple convenient options for casting their ballot. The public, including advocates and stakeholders representing language-minority and disability communities, is invited to provide input on the EAP, which includes education and outreach components. Once the draft EAP is completed, it will be posted online at, along with translated versions, and the public will be invited to review the draft plan and attend a public hearing to provide additional feedback at a future date.
