May 12, 2020, Congressional District 25 Special General Election

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the May 12, 2020 Congressional District 25 Special General Election has been declared a “Vote By Mail” election. All registered voters should have received a “Vote-By-Mail” ballot in the mail.

The Elections Division will hold in-person voting at the following locations:

  • Saturday, May 9th: Simi Valley Public Library from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Election Day: Ronald Reagan Presidential Library 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Election Day: Simi Valley Public Library from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

ADA Accessible voting machines and Curbside Voting will be available at the in-person voting locations.

ELECTION RESULTS INFORMATION

On Election Night results will be released at approximately 8:05 p.m. a pdf of the election results will be posted to the website under “Election Results/Canvas”.

Since this is an all VBM election, there will only be one release of the election results on election night.

On May 13th, the VBM ballots will be processed that were received at the in-person voting sites and drop-boxes and release the first update at approximately 4:00 p.m. on May 13th.

Election result updates will be provided every Friday and Tuesday until the election is certified.
