This is a VOTE BY MAIL Election

Under Executive Order N-64-20, we will mail all registered voters a Vote By Mail ballot for the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election. Registered voters do NOT have to apply for a Vote By Mail ballot for this election.

Why should I Vote By Mail?
Voting by mail will minimize contact with others, protecting your health, as well as the safety and welfare of our staff.

How does Vote By Mail work?
Your ballot will be mailed approximately 29 days before Election Day (October 5, 2020).  Mark your ballot, then place it in the postage-paid return envelope. Sign the envelope and mail it back. It’s that simple!

How do I know if I’m registered to vote?
Visit https://voterstatus.sos.ca.gov/ to check your voting status.

Can I drop my ballot off in person rather than mail it back?
Yes. You can return it to any ballot drop box before 8pm on Election Day.

What’s the deadline to mail my ballot?
Your ballot must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by the Elections Division by November 20, 2020.
